Accuracy and Limitations
While we strive for the highest possible accuracy in every estimate, precision of our outputs depends on quality, completeness and currency of drawings and project information submitted. Clark Estimating accepts no liability for errors arising from incomplete, unclear or outdated plan sets. Our estimates are professional opinions not certified engineering calculations or code compliance reviews.
Estimates Are for Bidding Purposes Only
All quantity takeoffs and cost estimates provided by Clark Estimating are prepared for purpose of assisting contractors and developers in preparing competitive bids. These estimates reflect quantities and costs based on the drawings and information provided to us at time of service. They are not guarantee of final project cost, material quantities or construction feasibility.
We Are Not Construction Contractors
Clark Estimating does not perform, supervise, manage or participate in any on site construction activity. Our role is strictly limited to estimating and takeoff services conducted remotely from drawing documentation you provide. Any decisions made regarding construction methods, scheduling or execution are entirely responsibility of licensed contractor undertaking work.
Limitation of Liability
Clark Estimating’s liability is limited to fees paid for specific service delivered. We are not responsible for any consequential, indirect or incidental losses arising from reliance on our estimates, including but not limited to lost bids, project cost overruns or construction disputes.
Core Scope Notice
Clark Estimating is a pre construction estimating and takeoff service only. We do not provide architectural services, construction management, site supervision or on site construction services of any kind. All outputs created by Clark Estimating are intended exclusively to support bidding and tendering process.
